I am sure your child will enjoy the relaxed friendly and encouraging atmosphere of art lessons with me at the Society. I have 12 years experience teaching painting and drawing to adults and children. I teach Watercolour, Acrylic, Oil and drawing techniques. Classes are small, a maximum of ten children ranging in ability from beginner to advanced. Each child is encouraged to progress at their own rate and there is no prescribed style or subject matter. My aim is to show them the techniques, tools, and tricks to unleash their creativity and find their own style. The children do not need to have drawing skills or previous experience in painting. They will learn as they go.
The fee is $20 for each session preferably paid each term in advance, a 10% discount applies i.e. $180 per term, this equates to one free lesson. Classes are held between 4-6pm on Thursdays and Fridays during school terms and are based on a 10 week term. It is also a requirement of Nepean Art Society that the children become members at a once per year cost of $10 per child. The membership fee entitles them to a monthly Newsletter and to enter our exhibitions at “The Cottage” each year.
