Field Trip to Glen Davis

Trip Report:

Glen Davis

in the Capertee Valley on Thursday March 31st – Sunday 3rd April.

Our camping/caravaning trip to Glen Davis in the beautiful Capertee Valley went well with 16 people attending. We all enjoyed the good company and the wonderful surroundings. A good fire at night added to the atmosphere. Some excitement was had when a six foot brown snake decided to slither through the campsite. Warwick Fuller’s dog Digger helped to chase it off, while Chris Pearson wasn’t impressed when we said it came from the direction of his tent.

We all had a good time and look forward to doing it again.

Painting tip: Wash your oil painting brushes in kerosine when finished painting as the oil in the kerosine helps keep them soft.
